Handmade Paper from Nepal
From the thousand years in the heart of the 
Himalaya, Nepali craftspeople have been producing 

handmade paper. Which is called as "LOKTA" paper 
made from the bark of  Daphne plant. This paper 
is renowned for its exceptional durability and 
wonderful texture. The paper was used in government 
official documents, manuscript, birth calendar, 
as well as in the monasteries for sacred texts, and 
ritual books.
